About Us
Growing Gunns is a Gold Coast Occupational Therapy clinic founded by Georgia Gunn. We offer a mobile service within in the Gold Coast and Northern New South Wales Region.
Georgia completed her Bachelor of Occupational Therapy with Honours at the University of Queensland. She began her career at a Specialist School in Melbourne, before relocating to the Gold Coast in 2018. Working with a wide range of children and adolescents with physical disabilities and complex health conditions, Georgia has amassed a wide range of experience over the past 8 years.
Georgia is accredited in provision of the Assisting Hand Assessment (AHA).
Georgia has completed additional training in:
- Learn to Play (Stagnetti)
- Advanced Bimanual Hand Therapy
- Prescription of complex Powered and Manual Wheelchairs (Amy Bjornson)
- Complex Home Modifications
Georgia is passionate about building strong and independent children and young adults. With every session she nurtures young spirits, empowering them to overcome challenges and embrace their unique abilities to achieve their goals.
